Sedo offer already...Did I lowball myself again!!!

I put GermanCuisine.de on Sedo.com on Superbowl Sun and already I have a bid for the domain name. I priced it at $1000. The buyer wants to give me $800 for the domain name. Question..should I accept the offer or keep looking.

Another thing that puzzling me about Sedo is why doesn't my domain names have unique views. Wouldn't it show clicks if I was to receive an offer? Or is there a way for Sedo to sidestep this? Doesn't make sense to me, especially when you include the fact that I just sold a travel website through them last week for a nice figure. Even that website showed only 2 unique views, when I had 7 bids...wtf!

Should I take the $800 and not look back or hold out. The appraisals I've gotten here have been pretty good. I was even considering adding in all the other extensions for free to the winning bidder, am I being too generous, too desperate or reasonable!

I think as you have put in the price of $1000 you cannot ask for more than that, If you are having doubts about the price then ask for the $1000 if he backs out then you get to keep your name and can then put the price up and wait for a new buyer.

If you "need" the money right now - Take it It's still a nice profit and a quick sale.

If you'll not sell it , I think you should price it for much more.
I think you should put minimum offer $1k

It was reported differently at DNJournal & Sedo - one said it was a .com the other said it was .de ??

There has been alot of .de sales which are listed in DnJournal - Did you sort the NS thing ?

was it a featured listing or regular?

if regular it would be a HUGE coincident that someone would pick it up so quickly. (so therefore take it take it) I would be careful and use escrow or only sell through sedo.

I agree, take it - especially since it is a pure domain sale (no site involved). As Fleege also said above, be careful since you don't know the buyer.... Escrow or SEDO for the transaction.

the name is a good one, and the offer is fair.
you could hold out for the $1000, but I would be inclined to take the $800 plus the buyer pays for escrow.
