Hi there,

I recently registered a couple of domains on Name.com, and I added them to my Sedo account, but next to each account it says "Not for sale" - citing that the domain is currently in transfer, but I already bought it and have it.

I do not find a setting in Name.com management to set a domain for sale, how do I get Sedo to see the domains as "For sale"?

Do you have the sites parked with Sedo?
It takes a few days for Sedo to manually check to make sure you actually own a domain, yet if you have your domains parked with Sedo (just change the DNS nameservers) than it'll automatically know you're the current domain owner.

I have a number of NameCheap.com domains added to Sedo and they were "For sale" by default from the start. When a domain name is being verified by Sedo it shows as isolated red text, but the Name.com domains have all been added to the main list as being successfully verified.

It is my feeling that it's something specific to Name.com, maybe it takes a few days to be "picked up" as not in transferal and saleable.

I am positive there is a forum member who knows *exactly* the situation I am describing.

Your help is appreciated.

Just on a side note : if SEDO receives legal challenge (i.e. for TM issues) they will notify the seller, and mark the domain as "not for sale" as well.

I dont think it has anything to do with Name.com, I just regged a name there and parked it on Sedo and within a minute or so it was listed for sale.

As it turns out, even after a Name.com domain has been verified on Sedo, it has to be parked to be seen as for sale, which is not the case for NameCheap.com domains. Thanks for the help.
