PedophilesOnline(Dot)com was deleted from my sedo account because they said in an email that someone complained about a trademark violation. Now for some reason people take this name way out of context, its happened in the appraisal section here at np. My intentions when registering PedophilesOnline is no different than the concept of familywatchdog.us. An informative site to talk about or locate pedophiles for parents etc. Now some people in namepros were saying im sick for registering this name but register all kinds of porno names themselves. They are looking at it from the wrong perspective. Do you think the person who complained maybe was just "offended" and doesnt actually hold a trademark on this? Does sedo often delete names based on complaints without seeing proof that the complainer owns trademark rights?

So develop it and prove them wrong. And Sedo often deletes names and give BS excuses. Personally I think you should be ashamed of yourself parking this type of name if you plan to develop it. Can you blame anyone for making a bad assumption in todays environment? You claim to want to build this helpful informative site...so then you SHOULD understand that people are not comfortable with pedophiles in todays society.

I also really doubt you made any money from the site parked at Sedo so why complain?

Now for some reason people take this name way out of context,

I can't believe you typed that...as if you have no clue why people would think something negative about the name. For "some reason"...lol...maybe you should actually say it out loud to grasp the domain YOU registered.

What an amazingly gross name - I suspect you had this to cash in as much as possible - If thats the case you're beneath contempt

I think you need to be very sensitive and careful with a domain like this, it's not something you want to hold as a domain without a developed site, park, or ask people what they think it's worth.

Develop the site first, then register the domain, and get the site up within 24 hours, that way you'll have a stronger case and other domainers will be less suspicious of your motives.

Another thing I would say is that the domain name you chose was ambiguous, bearing in mind the revulsion people feel towards pedophiles it's best to go for something like FamilyWatchdog.us.

Not a good choice of name...it sounds like a meeting place.
PedophileAlert...maybe...just a very bad choice of name....either develop it or delete it.

I knew I would have to deal with comments like these. I purchased this name to cash in. I never planned on developing it. I planned on selling it someone who would want to develop into an informative site. I wasnt parking it at sedo, I had it listed on sedo so I could sell it through sedo like I sell all my names. The most common place for pedophiles is online. If NBC did a special at 9pm tonight on tv called "pedophiles online", a 1 hour special about the dangers of pedophiles who are online, nobody would comment "wow that nbc, they are sick to name the show that". But put that same concept into the name of a website and suddenly everyones pointing the fingers. Thats really going far out into left field to envision the name of this as anything BUT an informative site. I dont think its a bad choice at all. The most common place pedophiles are found lurking is online. It states exactly what its about. Oh by the way, the only site I did develop in my life is furisugly(.)com. You will notice I dont have any adsense or donation links on there. So I dont need any of you passing judgement on me when it comes to morals, cuz your pointing the finger in the wrong direction. And as far as asking people what they think its worth, go back to a few posts of mine and look where I asked for appraisals on some other names. I sold 2 names for $150-180 2 weeks after I registered them, that other people on this forum said were lower then reg fee. Opinions dont matter on here. I was looking to see if anybody has heard of sedo taking listings off because of this or that reason, not looking for opinions because the opinions on this forum are below reg fee.

Search around here and you'll find a few.

And that's not an opinion.
