Well, I guess it pays to read the fine print, another newbie lesson learned. Sedo takes $50 minimum on any domain sale... Certainly does not pay to make a small sale like this through them...

Read further. some TLD's have even higher minimums. I don't price anything there for less than $150.

They do have a promotion where it's 10% with no minimum, but it has a bunch of restrictions:
Offer Conditions:

* Offer is valid for sales of the following TLDs: .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, .name, .li, .be, .dk, .de, .at, .ch
* Offer is only valid for US UK / International customers.
* In order to be eligible for the commission reduction, a domain must be parked (and have received at least one view) before the buyer makes his first offer.
* Offer is valid until July 31, 2005. Sedo reserves the right to discontinue the offer at any time, with or without notice.

Thanks, I finally got this transaction completed, and in the end was only charged 3% for using their escrow service... This transaction was a little different than most Sedo sales, I guess... but the good news is it is done and everyone is happy, Sedo came through for me in the end and I am happy about that...

I sold a $60 domain on Sedo and got $54 out of it, with their 10% parking deal. If it's not parked and at least getting some traffic then yeah, $50 is a tough cookie on a small sale.

Didn't realize it expires in July. Hope they extend it again...
