Sedo.com and Offers

Hello,

Im bidding on a domain names, and It tells me that I have...

You are REQUIRED to enter a bid of at least 60 $/EUR/GBP.

How can this be right, because 60 $/EUR/GBP are all very different prices! Why is it fixed at 60 of each if they are different currencies.

I have to say, that the difference between paying $60 and £60 is £30, ugghhhh... its just rediculous!

>:(

And then even worse it says on some of them:

You are REQUIRED to enter a bid of at least 110 $/EUR/GBP.

$110 = Approx £55

So thats a difference of £105!!! What is going on?? D-:

110 $/EUR/GBP are NOT THE SAME!

I know, it does seem ludicrious, especially for the commission (.ccs from example require a minimum of $150,£150 or €150, depending on the currency you are selling at) This works out at $150, $284 or $196 - nearly double for £GBP!

The trick is to sell only at $USD even if you're a UK resident selling a .co.uk!, you will save a lot in commision.

Obviouslly if you're buying, there's not much you can do...

I think basically what they are saying is that he domain you are making an offer on is set at a minimum of $60 US. I think they changed the message, before, all it told you is that your offer was too low. ANd I think the problem with the international prices is a mistake they overlooked.

Who knows. perpaps what they mean to say is that you must make an offer the eqivalent of $60USD+ but they worded it incorrectly.

It isnt possible because you have to enter over 60 no matter what the currency is set as! :|
