Hai folks,

i have a question.
i have never push any domains yet to auction.
so have few basic things to clear up.

say my domain xyz.com is listed at sdo with no price set.
now i am getting an offer today for 100$.
i have the price 500$ in mind. but i like to sell for 400$ even.
so now i have got 100$ and what to do at sedo with above in mind?

If you push to auction, you may get few, if any, other bids - you could end up selling it for only $100 or so.

Or you can counter the person's offer with $500 or whatever, but if they don't accept / counter-offer, their $100 offer is canceled; no sale.

If you feel there are other interested buyers (ie. you've received serious offers in the past, especially from other domainers), then push to auction. Otherwise, if no, then counter the person's offer, but be prepared for them canceling negotiations.

I would counter offer $500 and never think about sending to auction. If you send to auction after the $100 offer there is a good chance the auction will close without any other further bid unless the domain in question is a domain other domainers would be interested in such as CVCV.com.

Thanks folks, pretty clear !
so,
when got a bid > push to auction if the rate is ok (in my case, i ll choose this option if i would have got 400$) or counter offer (i should offer him 500$ in my case above)

so previous offer will be canceled here mean - my sedo page will not show "there is one previous offer for this domain" in future?

Even if canceled, the page should still show there was one previous offer.
