I want to sell a name that I registered with godaddy about a week ago, do I have to wait until the 60 day no transfer period is over before I sell it on a service like Sedo or does sedo have an escrow account at godaddy that you can push the domain to?
thanks for the help
Yes I am parking it with them. Normally my domains are with moniker and I just push them to sedo's moniker account, but I wasn't sure if they had a godaddy account to push to or if you had to transfer them from godaddy to their account at moniker.
Just change your DNS settings to
NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM &
NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM
I don't use goddaddy so not sure if you can change the DNS , but guessing 98% you can change them. I also use Moniker and wanted to ask what you meant by push?? becasue all I do on moniker is change my DNS (as above ) and just add the domains on sedo.
Changing the dns is for parking the name and really has nothing to do with my question.
When you sell a domain on sedo and your name is with moniker you have to push/transfer the domain to sedo's domain account with moniker.
Sorry to waste your time dude.
Yes. Sedo has accounts at many registrars to help streamline the sales process, GoDaddy is one of them.
I've never run into a sale with sedo where I didn't simply push the name to one of their accounts at the registrar the name was with.
If the name fell within the 60 days and the buyer specifically requested a transfer out - I'd imagine they would simply educate them / have them setup an account for the push and make them wait it out... but I'm not sure.
