it takes sedo a long time to do everything- probably taking them just as long to realize the auction

Maybe sedo's the one auctioning the .ac name, wouldn't be the first time I've seen a trademark holder sell off their "worthless" domain names...

I wouldn't think so.
According to whois, sedo.ac is currently owned by someone in India, while I think that Sedo only has offices in the US and Germany.

Maybe Sedo is just waiting for this auction to end in order to get their fee and they will take action afterwards.

I wouldn't think that sedo.ac has any value whatsoever and $400 seems vastly overpriced. Strange really...

 very funny for them, i tried their domain management before and last time I can remember, they reject "nokia" I think they can also do for their own sedo.

I find it hard to believe that Sedo will allow this name to be auction in their site.

I think Sedo wants more people to own a part of them, that's why :p

Yea, they've been consistent with that strategy. :D

I find it hard to believe they're letting that sell...

Perhaps that's their bid?
