I hate their good selling platform- in order to sell you have to park with them (not to pay bigger commission) but their parking sucks, if you park elsewhere you won't get offers no way out of this...

Agreed. The only way is to find similar platform who play fair and help to promote it.

2 clicks for 1c has been seen on other platforms recently. It is the search engines (in this case g00gle) who are raking in money from the ads and paying nothing out. It has nothing to do with the recession.

Sedo talks about it being "a cold world out there..", and how they are different from other marketplaces blah ****ing blah, while at the same time putting people over a barrel and shafting them with a frozen popsicle.

That's true for domains you would sell below $500 US.

If selling a domain for $500 or more, then Parking at Sedo offers no advantage
so is not necessary.

payment would mean better clicks ........ about 5-6 got 1cent each , at least it was for 1 click

My names traditionally dont get much revenue from parking but they used do a bit better than that ?

I am, still carrying revenue over from when they took over revenue direct , and that was a few months ago now

Is that true ? We park many domains at parked.com and include the sale link to the page at SEDO.

We just listed iphons (.),com on Sedo, but have it parked at Parked.com; $3.41 yesterday from 2 visitors. Looks promising; we'll see though.

We've only sold a few names on Sedo in recent years...

My clicks at SEDO have been much better lately... I even got a $2.79 click recently, my highest ever there, and a few over a dollar...

During most of 2008, the clicks were like the above posters, about a penny....Maybe things will improve for everyone eventually, I used to hate SEDO, but now, almost all of my domains are parked there, with just a few on Parked..

sedo sucks for adult traffic - decided to test some there today... 42 clicks .69 cents! What a rip off!

Now I remember why I don't park anything there.

I had about 300 dn's parked at sedo, and I wasn't making a killing by any means, NOT MUCH AT ALL!
but about 6 months ago, I had a dn increase 100 fold due to a movie that was released, and I ended up going back and foruth with sedo, because they terminated my name due to the increase in traffic, clicks etc... They thought I was running scripts to increase traffice etc.... They were wrong, and they pissed me off, cause they accused me before checking.
Now 50% of my names have been developed, and I'm working on doing the rest.
I'm looking at having non of my names parked at sedo.
