Thinking it can be used for a breaking news type of blog or news service ,domain had been owned for a long time b4 recent drop.

There's a band out of San Diego with that name. I once picked up TheStereotypes.com after a dumb record label let it drop. The band was very happy to buy it back for $50 I believe. That was a long time ago. Your's has more uses though so should go for higher than that.

Ha! Just looked it up on Archive.org It started it's life as some sort of get rich quick site. In 07 it was an adult site, In 2010 it was for sale, 2013 it was back to get rich quick, and then you got it. The story alone is priceless :)

MomentsAgo.com is owned by a ministry. But I agree, it has potential as a developed news headlines source.

As a pure domain, however, I'd place its worth at $400-$600.

Yep. There are two options: sell as is, or develop into a dynamic site that pulls news from the web, maybe add affiliate ads or AdSense and offer something of interest that makes it differ from other similar aggregators. As a brand, it has potential.
