Same here... My CPC dropped from May till now for approx. 50%. Things will get better in September I guess.

I second this. My CPC has dropped considerably, in some cases 25% and above. What gives? Any ideas?

Summer is slow for a lot of businesses, so they scale back on advertising. Fewer advertisers = less competition = less targeted ads = lower epc for publishers. Unless your site/domain is seasonal and summer is peak time.

Nov-Jan - Holiday shopping, post holiday sales, new year's promos = lots of advertising

Which brings me to point #2 - it's going to vary from site to site and from domain to domain depending on what you are targeting.

I have one legal/insurance domain in particular which has more than doubled in RPC, but the rest seem to have lowered slightly.

It looks like shopping/holidays season (black Friday, Christmas, Halloween) causes more competition amongst advertisers, thus the higher CPC for you

Mine CPC went into the sky with domains which are olympics, travel and flights related. BUT on all the others it crashed down.
