i had seen somewhere that ad revenue should be more than search revenue
why i am asking means i am building site for my city so if people wants to search then can search and i donot know what happens if they click ads
if they clicked then
google says i only clicked by going around city and about searches too dont know
this is the second time i have applied if google kicked to me then i will never join agian
so before doing anything i am taking help from u all
if u have any experience like this please post here
i know i can open a forum but there are more forums for us so it dont works at all
todays days are more forums but no people at all

Bhavani can u make it more clear as per where u are using the search box and how do u intend 2 use it.

If u are telling people to search and click on ads then ull b surely kicked out.

other then that......its perfectly ok to place a search box on any page as far as it is under the policies on Google.

Read Google Policies here!

Hope i got u right....try to be lil more clear..thanx

what a foolish idea, you can place search box if you want but you will not get paid for that, you have to put adsense codes and if someone clicks then you get the credits. :)

Put the google search box on your site and make sure it's embedded with your adsense code. When visitors perform a search, they will be taken to a search results page. The search results page will contain google ads that are embedded with your adsense ID. If the users click on any of those ads you'll be paid for them just like regular adsense ads on your normal pages.

I'm a little confused as to what you're asking. Google does not pay by impression, they pay by click.

Are you concerned that you'll get banned because all of your site's visitors are from the same city and Google will be suspicious of the geographic proximity of the clicks?

If so, I hope Google is smart enough to figure out that it's a regional site.

If they were getting paid by impression, it wasn't through Google.

I wouldn't be concerned with all of the regional click unless your click thru rate is outrageous (over 25%). Again, in a situation like this, Google would review the page and figure out that it's a regional page.

I'm afraid I don't understand your last question but if your worried about sending traffic to the page, post a link here and we'll review it.

You can get paid by putting a search box on your site!

Here is what you get if you put Google's Search Box on your site...

Your site visitors perform a search on your site using a search box that has Google's Name on it.

When they perform a search using that search box, they are then taken away from your site to Google's website --- You have just lost your site visitor to Google!

However, not all of the listings that show for searches with Google pay's money. Only the sponsor listings at top, and the contextual listings on the right side pay. You earn a commission from the bid amount (a percentage of the bid), however Google does not tell you what your percentage is, so who knows...

IT"S TIME TO OPEN YOUR MIND!!!

How would you like to get paid to use a search box and have the search results displayd on your site! Sound interesting?

Well, you can --- and your site visitors never leave your site.

(.....drum roll......)

FLISHESS!!! Flishess can give you just that!

With Flishess you can have your very own pay per click search engine on your site, without even mentioning Flishess. Your site visitors will believe that it is your search engine, because when a search is performed they are not taken away to someone else's website. There is no need to even mention Flishess at all!

The search results are fully customizable to match the content of your site!

You get paid 50% of the bid amount, we send out payments by check or Pay Pal every 30 days for the previous months earnings when your balance reaches $10. All earnings under $10 are carried over to the next month untill you have reached the minimum payout.

We can help you get your own search engine up and running on your site that allows you to earn from every unique click that is generated on your site. If you would like assistance just send us an email and ask! We are here for you!

hey bhavani, I tried putting google search on my forums archive, but this did not worked well..

Adsense pays more compared to Google Search.
I placed our adsense search on following areas:

http://forums.techarena.in/archive/index.php/f-129.html
http://forums.techarena.in/archive/index.php/f-129-p--p-173.html
http://forums.techarena.in/archive/index.php/f-129-p--p-172.html
http://forums.techarena.in/archive/index.php/f-129-p--p-171.html

http://forums.techarena.in/archive/index.php/t-282540.html
http://forums.techarena.in/archive/index.php/t-282576.html

And rest of few forum pages.
Revenue went down to 80% :(

Google is now paying on impressions as will as clicks
Advertisers have now the Option of Bidding on keywords or CPM for their ADS

Yes, I was confused. What I'm trying to say is that I cannot find a way to restict the types of ads shown on your site to one type or the other. It looks like both types (CPC and CPM) will be displayed on your site. It would be nice to be able to disable one or the other. If you have a low traffic but high click through site, displaying CPM will cost you money.
