Scubapro /TRADEMARK ISSUE?

This has a little r behind the name. Does that mean that the logo is registered but the name itself could be used by someone else as well? The .eu version is not taken. Would I be cybersquatting if I regged it?
Would I be liable to get into hot water over this?
Just look at all these names they have trademarked. Does that mean that basicly any term or description can be trademarked so barring further use of that term for any commercial or other purpose by any other party, person or entity?

Here is their logo http://www.scubapro-uwatec.com/
Is it not so that the word SCUBAPRO could be used by anyone that is using it for a scuba or diving related site? If I used it as a diving forum for instance.
Here is what I found on Trademark search
Word Mark SCUBAPRO

Now what I dont understand is this. The name SCUBAPRO is used with various country extensions and while some are the official SCUBAPRO sites others are for instance a diveschool, a diveforum ect. So how can they excist? Are they not breaking a trademark then?
Look at another example NITRO which is also a trademark for boats. At the same time it is als a trademark for a clothingline owned by a different company. Also there is a soundshop online called NITRO and various other unrelated businesses called NITRO. More examples are ECARE, EDOC, MEDIC, and hosts of others. Seems like actually almost every word in the dictionary is somehow trademarked by various groups or orginisations thus it should be difficult to register just about every domain name. NITROX is registered by a company manufacturing "nitrox" a drug for prostrate gland treatment. Nitrox is also registered as a trademark by a company internet service provider and Nitrox is also registered as a dive equipment shop and is also a gas used by divers. So how can it have so many different trademarks? This means I can also register a trademark on NITROX as a dive forum?
So now how do you know if you can use a name safely then or not? Seems mighty difficult to me. Now I want to pre-reg NITRO.EU for resale at some stage. Why dont all these different nameholders sue the @#$#@ out of each other???
Hell I see even the word SUNTAN is trademarked as is SWIM and LARGE and PARROT.
Parrot is a registered trademark of Parrot SA The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are owned by the Bluetooth® SIG, Inc. But I thought MOPED is like the word BICYCLE or SCOOTER. Open for use by all. Obviously not. OOPS I just checked and BICYCLE has 11 trademarks on it and CAR has 7 trademarks. So you cannot register a domain called BICYCLE.COM or CAR.INFO or you will end up in court.
And REPTILE and ELEPHANT and GIRAFFE and GORILLA are also all trademarks. I am sure if I checked up on still more names I,d find that they are also all trademarked.
So those names should not be allowed to be used as a domain name yet they are. I am very confused about all this.
Here is the link so you can check if a name is trademarked. Try the word CLIMB. It has 7 trademarks on it.
I tested the following words also and they are all trademarked-it leaves very little then that a person may still register as a domain.
AUTOWORLD-CONNECTED-UNPLUGGED-WELLBEING-COLOUR-LARGE-SOB-SKA-TROUT-TILAPIA-AQUACULTURE-GEMSTONES-PIKE-MUSHROOM-MEDIC

Now lets just take AUTOWORLD for example. It is a registered trademark and the trademark site is AUTOWORLD.COM But there is an AUTOWORLD with every major extension. They however lead to sites such as carsales sites or similar but the sites they lead to are themselves not called AUTOWORLD. In other words they are just used as a pointer to a site. So that is apparently allowed.

Best suggestion is use the search tool and use keywords "trademark" and "TM" in this section and spend a couple days reading. There have been much writen on the subject, both pro and cons. There is just too much to write to answer your quesiton.

That is interesting, what if you wanted to use scubaprojohn? Its a completely different word is it not? Should be legal to reg scubaprojohn.com if its not already taken right?

No probs there I can think of- but you never know with these big companies. They might feel it dilutes their mark and go for you anyway- And they will win coz they have the bucks.
