Most of us can probably agree that a horizontal scroll is a no-no. But, when it comes to vertical scroll, how much is too much. Once source I've read says to try and keep it to two pages, or two page-down presses. Definitely wouldn't go over three, or your viewer may become board by the context and leave, or not find what they are wanting within the first few moments and leave.
