Hi Guys,
I have an iframe which displays another page. Its all set up to automatically scroll. But when the page does require to scroll I get a vertical scroll as well as a horizontal scroll. Now the content of the page displayed does not extend itself past the width of the iframe and no matter what I do (reduce the width of the target page) it still comes back with a horizontal scroll bar. Its very annoying.

Any help cheers

Bruce

Hey Brusca, give this a shot:
Code:
<body style="overflow-x:hidden;overflow-y:scroll">
I hope that does the job.

Thanks. Gave it a try. Put that body tag in both the page with the iframe and the iframe page as well but no luck.

Odd, it should have worked if you replaced the current body tag with that. Would you happen to have an uploaded copy of the webpage that we can take a look at?

The website is here.

click on "winter 2002" on the left and you will see what i mean.

The code above (if placed correctly in the target document) should have done the job, but if that's not doing it, browse through this article and see if it helps.

I have placed this code in the body tag of the target and also the div tag surrounding the table and even adjusted some of the formatting and it still does not work.

Its likely the right way to go about it but I just can't get it working.

Thanks Mr Websites. That article did the trick.

Cheers Bruce
