NewsFeed.php is a file containing a PHP script that you copy and paste into your web page to provide dynamic, current day news items on that page. The news items are selected based on keyword phrases that YOU set. So, the news is relevant to the content of your page/site.

Requirements:

- User should have some basic familiarity with web page coding
- Web host must support PHP v4.3 or higher
- The web page file containing the SocialBookmarking script must be named like: filename.php, UNLESS:
- If you want to use the SocialBookmarking.php code in an existing HTML file,
your Web Host must allow interpretation of PHP code within .html file types

Does the script create the full template as seen in your examples, or do we need to create our own templates and insert your script? In other words, is it a complete solution, with me just adding my keyword phrases, header title, and configuration of parameters?

You copy and paste the script code into your existing web page(s) where you want the news items to display (in a table, for instance). The script is intended to be incorporated into your own existing web pages. No "template" is provided.

You simply specify the keyword phrases (as documented) and the number of news items you want displayed, and the script displays that number of keyword-specific news items formatted as: heading, clipping, "Read More" link, and horizontal line for each news item.

This provides dynamically changing, current, and keyword-relevant news items each time your page is viewed.

I've already got RSS parsers I can work with, I was hoping that your entire site was available as it's so nicely done. You might want to think about selling the entire template and all together, with a config file where you allow the script owner to set the parameters, like feeds, colors, etc. That would be cool, and profitable.

NewsFeed Customization of PPC-Sites

I am glad you like the look of my sites. Actually I bought most of those sites ready-made from PPC-Sites for $10 each. They provide about 500 pages and great graphics, with static articles. They do look fantastic!

But beware, many of the pages and articles are not pertinent to the site's subject. it takes many hours of work to clean them up, find appropriate articles and replace inappropriate articles, or just delete the offending pages, - and then clean up the site map pages.

Also, I did not like the static and non-unique nature of the articles. That is why I wrote the NewsFeed.php script to customize the sites with dynamic, pertinent content.

I also wrote a customizable and automated script for the Social Bookmarking which I am now incorporating into all the sites. See my post: Easily Add Social Bookmarkging Links

I'm still not done with fixing all the sites.
