I have always wanted to create my own script and setup a site and help with support. I just find it to be so cool. Anyways enough with the dream. I am looking for ideas on a script to create.

Some scripts you can make money on if you do create them:

Helpdesk script (as stated above)
Search Engine Submission Script
Control Panel for servers script
Forum Hosting script
Billing and automation script

Those are just a few ideas.

I like those ideas.. I will be looking more into a free helpdesk.. As I am not wanting to make money.. I would like to get a few extra bucks from like donations ad what ever but I want to make a free script.

what you could do is make mods for already made scripts. Take a look at www.phpbb.com. You could make a "mod" for their forum, post it up and then you would be the support for it and stuff.

Look for the Cash Mod. He is pretty sucessful!

Yeah, that site was free, umm 2 days ago so I have a free account with them. I have a custom SEO software package but it doesn't do reporting and overtime graphs like this service does.
