Script for toy/doll/bear site

Hi

I'm looking to put together a site for my partner, so she can display bears, dolls and accessories. She makes quality bears, dolls etc and asssociated clothes and is keen to have a net presence

Although I've some knowledge of html and have put together sites myself, I was hoping to find a script (hopefully free, but not necessarily) that would allow her to do this.

Nothing to complex if possible, but one with a good user interface, which also provides the opportunity to post adsense and private ads/banners. If it also provides the opportunity to incorporate a forum, so much the better.

I am aware of hotscripts and know its a great source, but I was hoping someone on the forum might be able to pinpoint an ideal script.

Is your partner wanting to sell her dolls, bears etc...
Or just display them?

If she wants to sell them, check out oScommerce, however, if she wants to just display them and have a forum, take a look at SubDreamer (www.subdreamer.com)

It's quite a good CMS, quite easy, although could take sometime getting used to, if she isn't too familiar with the internet, nothing you won't be able to each her.

It has the ability to intergrate into all major forums, PhpBB, vBulletin, IPB, SMF etc.

I think there is a free (light) version still available, hopefully they put it back up.

If not, i have the free version someone on my external, i'm just not sure if i would be able to hand it out? Maybe something to ask SubDreamer if you decide to use their CMS.

EDIT: Looks like they have took the light version down completely.
