Script for "funny photos" site

Hello, I would like to create a "funny photos" site with daily updates but I dont know what script to use.. Is wordpress the best solution or do you know any better about this type of site?

Depends on what features you're looking for...but WordPress plus additional plugins should be able to cover everything I can think of for a funny pictures site.
