What is the purpose of this site?
The purpose of this site is to help teams/players find scrims. A scrim is a shortened word for scrimmage. When related to gaming, it refers to when two teams from the same game compete against each other. Also known, as a "clan match".

How does this site work?
You can either post scrims for others to see or you can view the list of already submitted scrims. Once you see a team that you would like to challenge, just click that table cell and you would be taken to the scrim summary page. In the scrim summary page you will be able to see the detailed summary of the scrim you selected. Details vary on the game and the console you select. When in the scrim summary page, you will be asked if you would like to "Accept it" or "Decline it" the scrim. If you click "Accept it" the "Add Friend" and "Send Message" buttons will then pop up, and prompt you to perform one of those actions. But, if you click "Decline it" you will then be redirected to the scrim boards page.

get rid of the useless drop down menu on the top navigation, no need for it because thre are is no more than one option for each, will look better just plain buttons with a rollover state

however, the color scheme works well for the type of site it is and the general layout is nice, it's easy to navigate and the only thing i would change would be to add a few more pictures to the homepage to make it look more appealing, either that or get another color in there somewhere to break up all the dark and dull contrasts

Very nice site. Concept is right on, i like most of the features offered.
So much about the good, i hope you're sitting down, 'cause here comes the critique!

Empty fields (recent scrims/popular scrims) on the left? Remove them unless they lead to content. Empty is never good.

The top of the page is a bit too busy, divide and conquer, space it out a bit, or give the google ads a different, although dark, backdrop. Currently, one thing is seamlessly flowing into the other, causing a certain level of visual confusion and making the site look overcrowded in the header area.

Why don't you join our mailing list? This is one of the keyfeatures of your site. Bring it out a bit more. The red button looks pretty enticing, but what do i get when i sign up? Entice me - the user, to sign up and surrender my e-mail address to you.

Great implementation of the contact form, and the chat area. Awesome presentation of the partner sites. (Gotta throw something good at you when i immediately follow up with a negative. )

Top of the site, the toolbar looks pretty spiffy, the tooltips are a bit off the charts tho. For one, they just replicate what i'm holding my mouse over at this time, not providing me with additional info. Change that, explain in 3 or less simple words what the consequences of clicking on the button are. Furthermore, make the dropdown tooltip window a transparent one, it covers up the content underneath.

Great ScrimsNow Banner, and the rest of the animations is well done as well.

Eventually include a gamerdriven ScrimsForum at some point and see if that does you any good. I believe it would, not right away, but if the chat takes off, the forum would be the next logical step. Also, think about offering a Ventrillo or Teamspeak portal, i know there are more than just these 2, offer options and see if you can affiliate with them.

All in all, there are just a few minor enhancements to be done, :tu:
