I have made a Science/Tech Blog on it.....Will keep it as long as i have to....was just wondering how much could this domain be worth with and without the website?

EDIT: Domain is 4 years old.

with the site, it depends. a long and consistent history, which you're able to prove, would increase its value dramatically. using that as a benchmark, valuation would be entirely dependent on its monthly income.

but without the site, i'd say reg fee

what exactly in science/tech do you plan on talking about? is that what your taking up in school?

lol........no.....science/tech in general.......like what you read in papers, only i hope i can simplify its content so that it interests a wider range of readers

Good decision to develop domain with website (Blog). Get more traffic and increase pagerank. It will make your domain have more value.

unless a sci-fi tech blog is your passion in life, i'd be skeptical about approaching that as a business. if you are looking to eventually sell it and profit for it, you should aim for a site that is more passive. in which static content would be sufficient.

instead of a sci-fi/tech blog what about.. a site that has a list of factoids, interesting articles that aren't time sensitive, and media/profiles/cool stuff about sci-fi shows like star trek and its various spinoffs, battlestar galactica, etc.

a site like that could still draw traffic, and there wouldn't be as much pressure to constantly update the content. and there is definitely a market looking for a site like that
