this domain called scienceduty.com

It's perfect for a science blog, where you can upload science and technology news.

People would also remember it.

What should be the best price to sell this domain name?

Hi

since it's not a premium domain, then price should reflect that.

ie: less than $100

imo...

This domain has 0 value. I don't think anyone on this platform would pay $5 for it ever. Just drop it and try again.

Selling this domain called scienceduty.com
The problem is the two words together dont really mean anything, I know what they sound like they mean, but nobody is likely to find a need for that combo. Its always possible someone might want it, but you would probably have to sit on it for many years and sell if for less than $1000.

That's strange! Everyone I have seen outside this platform told me I chose an excellent domain for a science blog.

Even facebook, youtube, these have two words too right? namepros, godaddy, most of them have two words, and they made their value..
what if instead of selling my domain, i instead work on a blog?

Nobody would pay you $5 on this platform for it, but they can say u can sell it for 1k. If u buy thousand names like this for $5 each u will waste 5k. You are on the wrong path my friend.

Actually, I bought this domain for my personal blog, I don't have time for it, that's why I am selling it.
People who are actually blogging, and earning good money from it, praised my domain a lot. They said it's unique and very niche focused.

It's normal in the beginning that every domain you own looks like a premium domain.
My real premium domain(Single letter) which is on auction in sedo is yet to get even a $100 bid 😂. That's the reality.

Registrar - Hostinger
Renewal Price - $28.34 (for the next two years)
Renewal Date - 2024-09-07

It would probably sell for $20 in bargain bin on namepros but probably not any more than that. On sedo or godaddy you'd be lucky to get $99.

ScienceToilet.com is also two words. Doesn't mean it has value.

Now, why did you call it premium in the thread title? It's not premium in any shape, form or size. A turd is a turd, even if you polish it and call it a premium turd.

It's not a terrible domain. The thing is, if somebody wants to start a science blog as a personal project, they won't pay 1-5k for this, they'll just find a domain that's available to register, just like you did. Business uses are very limited and there are likely thousand of better options at the same price point.

I think you gave the perfect explanation. I will just add that domain appraisal software should never be used to make a purchase decision because lots of worthless domains appraise for hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Science Duty may be good for blogging. It is for website about what scientists need to do for human life. But for business, what business will use it? The domain value depends to how many business want to use it, and market value of the business.. Price of domain is different from price of website. If someone can develope a blog about Science Duty with this domain, may be you can sell it with a good price as bundle website + domain. Or you can sell it to someone wants to make a blog about Science Duty..

A very discouraging comment!
Scienceduty is not a joke domain, unlike science toilet which is completely irrelevant.
Both science and duty make up meaning and when joined together, they do make a good name for a domain.
I can give you examples of many popular domain name which comprise of two words!

Thank you, that's a good explanation
