When a scandal breaks in the domain community, what should members of the domain community do?....With another recent scandal breaking several days ago there seems to be differing opinions on this based on the comments. Should community members engage and demand answers when a possible scandal is brought to attention? Is self policing or self governing a bad thing or good thing? Is it good or bad to demand answers?
Some of the largest scandals have been from high profile and/or highly influential domain community members. In the past, many of the scandals are swept under the rug by use of their regarded positions within the community. Many of the associates with those committing the scandals remain silent and only seem to protect the accused. Many times associates even come to their defense. Other times associates distance themselves from the scandalous behavior while remaining very quiet......Is it a good thing or a bad thing to bring attention and awareness to other members of the community when a scandal develops?....Regarding SCANDALS, what should members of the domain community do?
