Saw the Doobie Brothers last night

we went to a Doobie Brothers concert last night... soo awesome. God they still sound amazing.

But.. !mad

there was pot all around. dope heads smoking weed right next to us. I was worried about this young child about 18-24 months old with her parents and what it would do to her... but to my absolute surprise and horror.. the dumbass parent of the girl started smoking from a pipe with her in their arms!

these friggin people.. it is absolutely amazing how little tact and brains people have anymore.

And yet, they are trying to make cigarettes illegal yet legalize drugs.

What is happening in this world? my God

Doobies, and especially mixed with small children in the vicinity, on the other hand, do NOT rock, IMHO. :o

Buddy - This is lite .... This is nothing new at all - can't recall a concert with more than a hundred people at it without some "Weed" being burnt somewhere - Not trying to offend anyone - It's just not new ! And anyone Submitting their kids to the drugs (Not to mention the noise / bad enviorment) is not Worthy of being a Parent !!!

ya man. it was impressive as hell. Even considering their ages, makes it even more so. Just as fresh and as brilliant (based on their new album they teased us with) as always!

I saw "The Tubes" (One in a million girl) a couple of months ago and i was totally let down. They acted like some lame grunge band, but are like 60 now. sad and pathetic. One hit wonders that just blew their chance when they had it still thinking they were cool.

I was worried last night the Doobs would do/be the same, but no. One fun show.. awesome music and they still know how to rev a crowd.

There was one point i was worried they would make it political, but they avoided it all by only saying "Please remember to register to vote! We have voter registration booths just outside the gates!"
