I signed up for Saw.com and went through a lot of the features there.

Looks like self brokerage is 9% commission.

Using their brokers like Jeff Gabriel, Brooke Hernandez or Robert Watson to name a few and it's 15% commission.

There are stats and a place to make notes about your domain names.

I spoke to Jeff Gabriel and he said they will be rolling out new landers as well.

They do offer payment plans and while you can't see it now they will will offer the ability to pay using Crypto through BitPay same as Dynadot.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Where have you seen their commission structure ?
Do they collect VAT ?

edit:

Self Brokerage Services

9% of the purchase price or $75.00 whichever is higher.

Minimum Payment Plan Commission 15% of the sale price plus cost of domain transfer or $250.00 plus cost of domain transfer.

Any idea how to contact them? I sent a question to them a while back via their website but never heard back from anyone. I tried again about a week later, but still no replies.

[email protected] did you try that?

Actually, yes... I also emailed them, a week ago. No reply yet (and nothing in the Spam folder).
I have notified Jeff Gabriel.

Thanks. But I'm more concerned about a potential buyer who might try to contact them with a question and not get a reply.

Dane,

I dropped the ball on this one. New sales landers that can advertise value, create trust, and offer your domains in different ways are an important subject over at Saw.com. I brought your request up in a meeting and was waiting to hear if this was something we could quickly release to you and other clients before we release our new landers, but in waiting for the answer, I have yet to get back to you. You can punch me in the arm when we meet!

Adding the button to add or remove the minimum offer would require a bit more work than you think, so you will need to wait a bit longer before we include your request in our upcoming landers release.

I would love to hear from the other Namepros folks if there are any specific requests, strategies, offerings etc., for sales landers you would like to see. If you would like to start a conversation here, that would be great, or you can email me personally at [email protected].

Think showing the min offer amount right on landing page is not a good move.

I never understood the concept of showing a min offer. If you show a min offer, as a buyer, that would be my first offer. So you've anchored me. I don't use your landers, but if I did - this would have to be removed.

Yup. It's exactly why I asked if it can be removed -- and exactly why I decided not to try using Saw once I discovered it.

same here.

I get the feeling Saw just wants sales volume and doesn't work hard to bring in good prices for the seller. I have seen them bragging about $3,000 - $4,000 sales on FB like they just hit the big time. Heck, just look three posts up. I would not brag if all I could get for bionic.ai was only $20k. I'd keep that to myself.

EDIT - I just read their post again and now I see why they are bragging. It's a post to end-users to demonstrate how cheaply they can get sales made for end users. "Looking for a domain to match your bold vision? We’re here to help you secure it!" Literally bragging about the crappy deal they got the seller. It's the same mindset as showing a minimum offer. Saw is a buyer's marketplace.

I did communicate to Jeff that many do not like this, I do not like this. Because yes every prospect out there will make the min offer what's shown. He told me they are working on new landers and I said well maybe in the now the coders can just remove whatever line of code is used to show the min offer line. He said he would get on it.

I don't understand why removing one field would take so long. But regardless of that, why is it there to begin with? I can't imagine that ANY sellers think it's a good idea to display the minimum offer amount on the landing page. Who thought that was a good idea when they originally designed the page?

Jeff Gabriel here:

Thanks for bringing this up! We've been in business for five years now, and during that time, we've achieved close to $75 million in sales. Our experience really sets us apart from many other options out there.

One thing we've realized, though, is that we haven’t been very vocal about our sales figures. As a business, we've typically focused on showcasing some of the bigger, exciting deals. Moving forward, we want to share a broader range of sales—from high-profile deals to smaller transactions. This way, domain investors and businesses trying to decide between us and a competitor can see the consistent activity and successes we’re achieving.

In today’s market, domains like Bionic.ai would sell for more in the hands of a domainer. But we’ve found that letting buyers see domains selling for affordable prices to relatable businesses helps build trust. It makes people more comfortable working with us and open to having conversations. That's why we started using Trustpilot a lot more as well.

Education is a huge part of our sales process. By helping people understand the market and the value of domains, we're making it easier for them to see the opportunities—and feel confident working with us and, in turn, if you use our services working with you.

You asked we listened. We should have this updated tomorrow at the latest.

I always thought to get the lead first, educate second, and sell third. I did not realize this was that important to our customers, so we will eliminate it.

Any other must-haves/new ideas while we are working on a bunch of new landers?

Thank you!

Catch-22. It's hard (for me) to suggest new ideas until I try using your system, and I can't use your system until the minimum offer thing is removed. But it sounds like that will be changing shortly...
