Theres no real section for this, and I need it sorted fast so...

I want to save a .swf off a site, and I'm not quite sure how I go about doing this.

Any ideas?

The file is http://www.thetvcafe.com/rf.swf

You can't right-click a SWF ;) You have to search the code for "embed src='" and then use that pathname to locate the SWF. Then click File -> Save As... to save it.

I would like to ask you a question buddy,

Why do you want to save a .swf file off a site?

In this case, the source code is encrypted so you can't see the embed code. So what I would do is create a simple html page like this:

Code:
<html>
<body>
<p><a href="http://www.thetvcafe.com/rf.swf">http://www.thetvcafe.com/rf.swf</a></p>
</body>
</html>
Then you can open that web page right on your desktop, and right-click on the .swf address to 'save as'.

are you using Internet Explorer?

If you are, then
go to My Computer -> Docs n Setting -> go to your profile folder -> Temp Internet Files folder

all the .jpegs, .gifs, .css, .swf everything from a website that you visited would be in that folder.

Just go to that folder, look for your .swf. You can sort by types.

The path may be wrong. i am at sch now, and donot have access to My Computer.

I am assuming you are using WinXP.

Don't worry! Everything has been sorted but Tom didn't use the .swf in the end. :td:
A bit of a bummer that my time was wasted but hay, that's life.
