I'm going to fly in the face of general opinion here, and say that $10600 was all the name was worth - the seller got the best out of this deal.
My reasons for this are;
The Ovt isn't that great at 25k - there are many names with that or more still unreg'd, or reg'd and can't find buyers, at a fraction of 1% of what this made.
The name isn't that focused - suggestions are being made to turn it into a site for this, or a site for that. To me that screams of having to contrive a use, and that means branding costs. If you want a coupon site, get a name with 'coupon' in it. This is why invest.mobi will always be worth more, it's focused, 100%.
To me at least, the word 'save' has a negative connotation. You 'save' something that's failing - obviously this is just a personal reaction to the name, you possibly think otherwise.
There are other names which I believe are preferable, ie, 'saving' - 'savings' - 'saver' - 'savers', the last 3 of which are more financially focused (there goes that word again).
Finally, the market priced it at $10,600 - say no more....
Now to sum up. I don't think the buyer got his trousers taken down, but I doubt the name would have sold without it being 'marketed' - if you've got $10k burning through your pocket, I reckon there are better deals to be had.
