I’ve spent a lot of time there....a West LA expensive area.....touristy

Better than reg fee.

Could be monetized as a tool and then sold for a substantial amount

SEO work required, to be viable. 3 worded, 18 characters ...a struggle

Relatively little value, in my opinion

Homes and real estate are the terms you want.

Realty and homes for sale are decent.

Housing is more to do with the government than private real estate.

Agreed,

However, in this case - Santa Monica is of such high density and there is such a high turnover of housing there that it could be utilized as a gateway or leadgen - esp for UCLA, SMCC, tourists, business trips, etc....

I like it but need to put a site on it and develop. I do agree return would be modest at best as raw domain.

to put things in perspective you either dump more money into the name to be able to make a profit or you let go of the idea of selling it as is

Offer it to Santa Monica Real estates and see if there is any demand.
Another way, yes, to develop some traffic to it.
To me, although a popular destination, too specific, too limited. Maybe $200-300 as a redirect. Again, good relevant traffic will help...
