Same traffic, less clicks/money???

I bought a domain about 2 years ago that has traffic. So, I just parked it at Fabulous. It was making me about $10/mo in clicks.

So, about 4 months ago, I decided to put up a web page selling an information product that was related to the domain keywords just to see if I could make more than $10/mo from the domain. I did not try to get more traffic from SEO or anything. I was merely trying to get more money out of the traffic the domain was already "naturally" getting for the past 2 years or so that I have owned the domain.

Well, it didn't work out, so I decided to park it on Fabulous again.

Problem is, even though I am getting the same amount of traffic every month that I have been getting for the past 2 years, and even though I have the same exact parking page set up with the same links that I had for the past 2 years, I am not making squat anymore form the parked domain. I am lucky if I get one click per month for a whopping $0.50 or so (I used to get around 20-30 clicks per month).

So can anyone offer any insight, suggestions, or whatever as to why all of a sudden I am not getting as many clicks as I used to get, despite the fact that the parking page, page colors, ads, and traffic are exactly the same as they have been for the last 2 years?

Interesting...well, how large is your re-parked sample size? PPC fluctations often feature high levels of variance, so this might be consistent with a left-tail observation about a mean of X=$10/month. That being said, did you see fewer clicks, lower rev/click or both?

Same everything. Same uniques, same rev/click. Just different click rates.

Again, everything else is as it was before. THe only thing that changed is the amount of clicks (and therefore the amount of rev earned).

I would try testing it at maybe sedo or namedrive. Even if you tried it along time ago, its worth another try.
