Google has many different search tools that people can use to refine their search so that the results that are shown are more related to what they are looking for. I believe that It’s about time that Google also made a search tool for “Domains For Sale” so that when end users search for domains they can see what is available for sale (or Lease) across all platforms and Landers that are related to a certain keyword or phrase that they are interested in.

Right now unfortunately most sales Landers are buried deep within the search results and no mater how nice and useful they might be, but no one ever gets to see any of them on Google.

    IMO

LOL, I think Google has 17000 priorities higher than domain name landers and the success of domainers.

Frankly, Google’s mission is to provide relevant search results, and a domain names sales lander is pretty far from relevant information for most people - so I don’t see this ever happening, unfortunately.

Although this might be of great benefit to domainers, but it actually is an option that is provided for the sake of end users who are searching for Domain Names.

Also Sales Landers are relevant info for end users who are specifically searching for Domain names.

Google already has similar tools for other specific categories, like people who are searching for jobs can see actual job listings for a certain field and area which although is not considered relevant search results for the average person, but is of great help for those who are searching for a job.

  4. The work-around is inhouse landers with the domain 302 redirecting to that inhouse landing page.

I have several that get organic traffic for various keywords on inhouse landers that way.

Single page landers on the root of a domain just don't play well in search anymore. Even splash and squeeze pages with 10k+ words that scroll forever don't rank as well anymore these days.

Happy to provide examples if you need any, but I'm sure you already know what I mean.

Thanks for the tips Eric, sorry for the late reply, I was having a heart procedure done at the Hospital yesterday, but as an oldtimer in domaining I was still thinking about how nice it would be if our sales Landers would show up when end users search specifically for domains for sale that are related to their desired keywords or phrases.

Now I know that we can get our domains indexed as you explained, but getting indexed deep within the search results is not what I am after since it only produces a trickle of traffic that is very negligible once you put aside all the bot and automated scripts that visit the Landers.

I like to see Google come up with a tool that only shows the domains for sale across all platforms when end users search for a certain keyword or phrase so that the first few pages of the results are filled only with useful and suitable sales landers that they can choose from.

    IMO
