.mobi S2K, what do you think?

No, it's not a reg, just commemorating my 2,000th post. (S2K, get it, Biff, Scandi needs a beer!)

While this probably belongs in another section, the mobi forum is my home at NP so I hope the mods are kind. It's been a heck of a ride so far since I joined back in Dec 06. I'm so glad I found this place, the unofficial mobi mecca graciously hosted by NP.

It's great to think back on all that has happened for mobi in such a short time. Some great results in the auctions and aftermarket sales and lots of sites going live, be it all the corporate sites or all of us little people that are plugging away.

I spend way too much time here but I've met a bunch of fine people and will likely meet many more as the merits of .mobi continue to be discovered. I'm pretty sure some mobi skeptics would love for this to be my last post but it ain't gonna happen. I'm having too much fun hanging out with my friends and discussing this hot tld.

Congrats to you on your 2000th post milestone! I have been a daily observer since mid-Nov. 2006 and finally joined in Jan. 2007. You are a major leading light in the mobi world and I am sure that many enjoy your thoughts and postings as I do. When we finally have that MOBI Convention, the first several beers are on me.

While I, personally, often disagree with many of your thoughts and stances regarding the .MOBI and its future (and intentions), one would be hard pressed to find a more articulate and professional proponent of the extension. :gl:

This is one time that I totally agree with Jeff's post ... except for one syllable ... ("dis") ... Otherwise I think he nailed it.

Good Job Scandiman - intelligent posts, humor when needed, and the dedication of Mother Teresa ... tending to us lepers of the domain extension world ... according to the "Reg Fee crowd" that is.

12-15 MONTHS from now, we'll be able to say we were all here for the first 2,000 of the 10,000 scandi posts of the Dot Mobi revolution.

Cobo, I like your idea of a mobi convention! We'll need to bug Mr. Pinky about it next year. This year is out, I don't want to distract him from the RFP's right now.

It's been a pleasure to discuss mobi with you all. Yes, even you Jeff. At this pace I may even catch up to your post count when mobi is viable in your predicted 12-15 years. I'm sure we will debate that prediction again (and again, and again...)
