Ok if I look around in a search engine I am just as likely to puts an s at the end ie hotels, or cars but I wouldn't for ie money or insurance

Does the s on hotels and cars make it less value?

S hurts its value for most words!

worldstar is right, but there are exceptions.

I own PetCrates.com... DotComAgency owns PetCrate.com...

I get all the traffic.

Thanks. I'm like you. People don't look for car, they look for cars, etc.

Just take a quick look at all the mega sites based on generic terms; Cars.com, Hotels.com, Loans.com, Tires.com, Tickets.com, Books.com, Homes.com, etc. I think it all depends on the nature of the word...most generic single-word product names are better suited in plural.....cigar vs. cigars, guitar vs. guitars, computer vs. computers, picture vs. pictures, etc.
