I would like someone to direct me to a WordPress site that has an RSS feed on it. I'm new to this and I want to make sure that I did mine correctly on my webpage. I had thought that the RSS feed would come in and automatically "post" on the front page, but that didn't happen...And if anyone has some information on a good RSS/News Aggregator addon for WordPress, I'd appreciate that too. Thanks!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Magpie - http://magpierss.sourceforge.net/ is a good one for bringing in feeds and have it on a few of my blogs.

There is one which posts to blogs such as rss2blog or autoblogger but pricey. If you want to go down the quick route a plugin called firstrss will also help from http://wp-plugins.net/plugin/firstrss/

PM me and will show you a couple of the blogs

In Wordpress you could make a page and enter this data as there won't be a need for cron job nor installing the script.

Try www.RSSJava.com for a JavaScript which you can display on HTML pages. The good thing about this is that you can customize from numbers to styles. The bad thing is that it does not display in the source.

If you are looking for a SEO friendly then try this on any PHP Page:

PHP:
<?php
/*
Created by Global Syndication's RSS Parser
http://www.globalsyndication.com/rss-parser
*/
set_time_limit(0);

$file = "YOUR FEED URL";

$rss_channel = array();
$currently_writing = "";
$main = "";
$item_counter = 0;

function startElement($parser, $name, $attrs) {
   	global $rss_channel, $currently_writing, $main;
   	switch($name) {
   		case "RSS":
   		case "RDF:RDF":
   		case "ITEMS":
   			$currently_writing = "";
   			break;
   		case "CHANNEL":
   			$main = "CHANNEL";
   			break;
   		case "IMAGE":
   			$main = "IMAGE";
   			$rss_channel["IMAGE"] = array();
   			break;
   		case "ITEM":
   			$main = "ITEMS";
   			break;
   		default:
   			$currently_writing = $name;
   			break;
   	}
}

function endElement($parser, $name) {
   	global $rss_channel, $currently_writing, $item_counter;
   	$currently_writing = "";
   	if ($name == "ITEM") {
   		$item_counter++;
   	}
}

function characterData($parser, $data) {
	global $rss_channel, $currently_writing, $main, $item_counter;
	if ($currently_writing != "") {
		switch($main) {
			case "CHANNEL":
				if (isset($rss_channel[$currently_writing])) {
					$rss_channel[$currently_writing] .= $data;
				} else {

					$rss_channel[$main][$currently_writing] .= $data;

			case "ITEMS":

				} else {
					$rss_channel[$main][$item_counter][$currently_writing] = $data;

		die(sprintf("XML error: %s at line %d",
					xml_error_string(xml_get_error_code($xml_parser)),
					xml_get_current_line_number($xml_parser)));
	}
}
xml_parser_free($xml_parser);

if (isset($rss_channel["ITEMS"])) {
	if (count($rss_channel["ITEMS"]) > 0) {
