If this was a recent purchase, I would recommend grace deletion unless you have specific development plans.

The .PRO TLD is a tricky and highly speculative extension and this will certainly be a donation to the registrar if it remains undeveloped. If you want to gamble on .PRO, BUY a good name in the aftermarket.

Zero undeveloped. IMO.

Best of luck with future registrations.

On the plus side Riva is the 94th most popular Spanish surname, there are 243,000 indexed Google pages begin www.Riva, probably about 150,000-200,000 is the word Riva rather than other words like Rival, Riva.com just sold for $200,000.

On the downside, Riva is very lightly regged in alternative extensions, there are no bids in other extensions on Sedo, and only a couple of other .com reported sales for the keyword Riva. I don't think you would be able to sell Riva.pro to another .pro domain enthusiast at the moment so reseller value is nil.

If somebody is prepared to pay $200,000 for the .com there must be a fair amount of competition among end users for the keyword so you never know your luck, although in fairness the chances of finding an end user who has heard of .pro and values the keyword Riva is very slim.

Buying a good .pro on the aftermarket is good advice. Celebrity.pro sold for $150 on NamePros.com today, it's not an obvious fit with the extension but I can think of angles like professional talent agencies or celebrity PR where it could work very well.

Acquiring a coveted .pro on the aftermarket is easier said than done. Most were regged in 2005 so registrants have sunk about $350 into reg fees, that's the equivalent of owning a .com for 50 years. Original .pro registrants are usually professionally qualified, business owners, or alternative extension savvy, they aren't short of a buck so bargains are few and far between.

I missed the Celebrity.pro auction - do you have a link? I couldn't find it via namepros search for some reason.
