We (My sites) used those Google ads and we had them on the search engine for about a week. We had attained 300$ on? Yeah...well 11 minutes before the check would be sent, Google deemed our site content 'unsuitable'.

Okay this really fu*king pisses me off. First they mess up the ads and delay us, and now they say we can't get the money we deserve.

We're seeing a lawyer about this. I swear to God, Google is going down.

Sorry but you can't use them on search engines. This is a well known fact. I formerly owned www.viperseek.com and we knew that Google ads could not be used on our site because we had no content. Content is very important. I advise using bidvertiser for you search engine

Having a look at the link, it is definately not in Google's terms to put ads on a page like that or even one of your results pages.

It is definitely not in advertisers' terms to show $300 worth of ads and have their account terminated in 10 minutes before the pay day :D Sorry to hear btw

even though i had invalid clicks, they waited until the last day of the month to suspend me, i know plenty of honest people who have used adsense, and adsense come up with a stupid excuse not to pay, i say take it further, i bet they still got paid, i hate google sometimes

I've used adsense for a year and a half now, I've never had a problem with google. They have emailed me a couple of times with some warnings, but they've never cancelled my account or not paid.

Adsense says they review and approve each site. If they approved the site and he didn't change anything then they can't say it's not approved.
They could change their TOS to exclude his site, and then terminate his account. They could probably terminate his account for no reason. But they can not approve a site, occupy space on his page, and then not pay for it. If this is what has happened then they will indeed go down, and if they are doing this on a regular basis then they will go down in a big way.

Class action prima? I haven't had any troubles with Google and I am earning quite a bit from my content rich sites, so maybe they aren't such a greedy corporation.

I could easily imagine a class action being brought against any number of PPC services. They don't seem to realise that they just can't go and do whatever they want, no matter how lopsided their TOS is. Most of the TOS I've seen would have serious problems in court anyway. Many are also guilty of false advertising.

I think the main problem with situations like this is that these people don't know how to communicate. Most people are willing to discuss a siltation and reach a compromise if approached properly. Terminating someone's account and saying they won't be paid is not the way to do this.

Perhaps the OP was at fault, perhaps not. This depends on details that we don't have. I've had no problems with Google, but I hardly use them. I don't think they are a greedy company, but I think they may have made a mistake in approving his site. If so, they should pay up and be more careful in their approval process in the future.

If someone feels cheated by a PPC service then by all means take legal action. They would do the same to you. Small claims is an excellent venue for small guys being bullied by big companies.

Not to throw water on the whole thing, but I don't see any COA for a class...
But back to the main point: It seems fairly straightforward that the ads were placed somewhere they weren't supposed to be, right? So what is the dispute about now?

A class action involves numerous plaintiffs. We only have two people complaining here, so any talk about class actions is speculation at this point. There will likely be a class action by publishers against a PPC service in the not to distant future, but no one is saying it will be Google, or that it will be based on the OPs complaint. You can keep your water in your bucket.

This case comes down to two things. Did Google approve the site, and should Google have terminated the relationship earlier. When you sign up for adsense you'll receive an email stating that you will be able to log in once your site has been checked for eligibility. That he was able to log in implies it was checked and approved regardless of whether this actually happened. It is also possible that he did not sign up with this site and did not have it approved.
Even if he did things in such a way that the site is not approved there is still the question of the relationship being terminated timely manner. The OP claims that they messed up his ads and delayed him โ€œfirstโ€. Did he email them about the problem and provide the URL? If so, it is reasonable to expect that they actually visited the site and had a chance to review it and stop things before he displayed their ad on his site. How long did the ad run? If โ€œabout a weekโ€ means four days then forget it. If it was ten days and there is clear documentation that they did, in fact review the site then it's probably worth pursuing.

Yeah, I'd agree - Go sue them, don't get bullied around by bigger companies, ,my only advice - make sure you have something to sue for with solid proof.
