Revoked Status

Has anybody come accross the status showing "Revoked" when searching domain names? I just came across 1. Does it mean it's available to be registered? It has a "Registry Expired" year of 2004

No reflection on the above poster at all, but if you share any name that you are considering registering, do it by personal message. If you post it on a forum, someone might just take it for themselves. People are nice here --- most of them.

I believe it only happens with cctlds, where they deny or approve each and every domain. I'm not sure, but I remember something in the .IT registry about that.

I never even heard of that status... The only thing i can thing off is the domain was revoked as its evidence for the police? idk

Yes, it was a ccTLD. It was a .nu extention. First time I ever saw it too!
