Review & Suggustions needed on cms

hi,

The site runs on nucleus cms system. I modified the skin and added various plugins.

It is a site which enables members from various age groups, of a sports club, to upload new news and announcements.

The I would of really liked to get the rss feeds to work on the main page, but was unable. ( give me time!! )

why put the apology as the main content? That is a very negative first impression.
Put the link to the forum. That's all you need.

Why do 14 and 15 year olds need an RSS feed?
The archives section below the first entry fold makes no sense if the only content on the first page is a text sentence saying there is not text. I suggest you write a post or module then archive the text and have it be the history of St. Cuthberts, etc.

Famous alumni, where are they now, whatever. Archive html highlit text scans of old St. Cuthberts' newsletters and bulletins. It seems you are going for page views with the Google adsense, in that case ptmize your site with text rich modules.
