I just set this up today and wrote the articles myself some totally and others with a bit of help from other sources. Spent a really long time looking for the perfect theme and think the one I found is really nice. Let me know what you guys think of it. I know the header is bad I am by no means an expert at making those.

Although I'm a poker player myself, I have not heard of Jamie Gold before (maybe I missed it). For a visitor to your site, you wouldn't want them to navigate away because your site isn't simple enough. Using a bit of HTML, create a really short (I mean really short, as in bullet points) on the right menu saying things like Age, Championship Wins, Last Game etc.

As you admitted, your banner/header isn't the best. Try and put a bit of NP$ into letting someone make a decent one for you, but it isn't a big deal. For a biography website, I don't really think a forum is something you really need. Your website glossary is a really neat addition.

On your main page, keep the font styles the same. It changes from normal to bold. Also, change your <title> tag to something like "Jamie Gold - 2006 Poker Champion of ____"

Good luck, you've established a great website. I assume you will Adsense optimise it soon.

Jamie won the WSOP Main Event the biggest event in poker. He won $12,000,000 for first place. Most poker players know about him. I thought the forum was a cool mod and just planned on getting a few posts in there to build up traffic. I will work on making a short bio on the main page to go with the one I already wrote.

-IMO most of the traffic will be from search engines so the user will already know who is he. Thanks for you review.
