Still have to add some text content but for all other purposes the website is done.

Thanks!

I like the idea and I like the page. It's simple and it's very easy to get an overview. Only negative thing is that the website has a pretty short life. How about making a similar page that's not bound by the year?

i was worried about the year thing too until i noticed that they hold their overture for some years. So I'm gambling on the potential for search engine traffic.

13173 for 2005 calendar
7336 for 2004 calendar

While not huge like the 260,000+ ovt of 2007 calendar they have some staying power!

Thanks for looking!

Sweet! But if I was you, I would make a site without a year too. As stated earlier, I like the idea and if you don't do it somebody else will!

It's really nice. Your layout is simple but cool. And I really like the idea. Good luck with this site. Maybe you should make it a PHP so people can add events for any day of the year.

Yep, what you said AND all the above as well. I like the site, easy, functional. Lacking a bit of color though and MOST certainly, since you already have a Canadian Flag as toolbar icon, i'd suggest to incorporate it also into your banner. I'd believe that it's in your best interest to follow along a clear line of design which also includes repetition of established elements, just like the CA flag.

The way out of the search engine misery with years of calenders would be to create a "overall calender" site that doesn't have any tag lines with a certain year, but is a general calender from which the user can drill down to a specific year. I'm not sure if that's your golden way out, but i'm thinking it's worth considering?
