It appears you need auth code.. go to nic.name they have some info..I may try transfer soon myself to see..in fact
let the experiment begin!! I'll keep you posted

Well it seems the registry doesn't update quickly Last night I removed my alias email address from namescout and requested my auth code which takes 2-5 working days anyway. While namescout shows my correct email address www.whois.name still shows the alias name which of course means I can't even initate the tranfer even if I had the auth code..

well registry updated correct email and transfer initiated..from namescout to domainsite seems pretty much like a regular non com,net transfer..

received and replied to Acknowledgement of Request to Transfer to Domainsite.com..sofar OK
