I know .orgs don't go for nearly as much as .coms do, but any thoughts on what this might be worth? I'm not adverse to taking the time to develop it, if it'd be worthwhile.

I for one am a firm believer that good .orgs will rise in value... especially nice one-word ones. Im not sure what end-user would want to do with this, but its a solid name. I'd pay low $xxx for sure.

I have one name fastwebs.org, and it's getting traffic. so orgs are not so bad
especially if it nicely fits with the name.
