don't really plan on selling it but would like to know if it'd be worth holding onto.

Well, I'd say it depends how you would market it. Generally, .ca names aren't so much in demand, except to mostly Canadians. But, it is only three-characters, so that is a positive aspect.

I'd say reg. fee - $25 wholesale.
