Looking to develop or resell to UK interest. Although new extention, strength of keyword (183Mill google, 8Mill+ Overture) should make it worth investment. Any thoughts from domainers gauging the new extention market? Thanks.

Restaurants is a great keyword! I also like wireless.us.com. As far as appraisals I have no idea. The recent sale of medicine.us.com on Sedo for around $1800 may give you a little indication of the value, but until more are sold I couldn't guess.

I don't know of the response to the .uk.com extension either. It's definitely a keeper though.

centralnic's domains (subdomains) seem to do really well in the UK.
it seems to me that they are more popular there than in the US.
although the word is superb, the extension isnt too great, but nevertheless, I know of a few unreported uk.com domains that went for a decent amount (relative to the extension).
mid $xxx for restaurants undeveloped
