domain Resource1.net

Just picked up Resource1.net. It was originally registered back in 1998 and I am now the newest owner of it.

There are other TLDs for 'Resource1' already taken: .com/.net/.org/.info/.biz/.us

I suppose the name might have some possibilities to it. Sure, it does have a '1' at the end of it. But so do other popular names we know: VH1, Capitol One, Channel One, and probably a few others I can't think of.

Even 'Resource4.net' is registered, and 'Resource3.net' is pending delete, and 'Resource2.net' was previously registered not too long ago.

Does my domain Resource1.net have any value to it?

I think it has possibilities, yes. Mainly it looks good for developing, since it's got a very brandable name. Maybe a freeware, shareware applications site.

For reselling, I would say its value is mid to high $XX.

Name sounds catchy, would be nice if you had the .com too for those type-ins. Resource1 has a ring to it, so I think it can go for more than regfee for sure. And as you said it's reg'd since 98, must be a name a new company can use for corp. identity.
