Hi all,

I need help with a ssl certificate.
I've setup fine the ssl but now when i go to the ssl address I got this:

Could not verify this certificate because the issuer is not trusted

Why? Maybe because the "Issued to" and the "Issued by" are the same?
The address is https://hostinvent.com

Your browser is just saying that it's not a trusted (known) authority like Globalsign or verisign for example). Did you issue it yourself ?

yes I issue it myself but it's very unlikeable to click on accept or ok every time.
Is it possible to not see this?
I use a ip for this ssl certificate.

If you want rid of that then you have to buy an SSL certificate from a trusted authority.

Your issue is that you haven't put the correct crt data in the correct place, its a common mistake.

jackheskett it is a self signed certificate no matter where the CRT goes the user will be warned unless the user themselves suppresses the warning.
