lol, you'd be hard pressed to find the myspace source for free lol, the best i can suggest is to get a cms / forum, where members can edit their profile etc.

and talk about themseleves.

The exact source code of MySpace won't be available on the net - not even paid.
What does exists, are MySpace-alikes. There are over 25 paid ones available on the net, prices vary between $25 and $1000 (big difference!).

But there is a free possibility too (there are more than one, but currently I can only call one). Note that its written in PHP, while MySpace seems to be ColdFusion. PHPizabi - still in beta testing fase

I hope this helps you a bit :)

Cheers, ;)

MySpace clones are hardly cheap, you have to part with some cash to get them.

maybe i should have been less "mainstream"
.
i am looking for a "social networking" template that allows users to post pictures of their cars, blog about them, network, etc. something more than a forum...

i guess the myspace relation was the most logical one that i could come up with, although maybe not exactly accurate.

anyone that can point the way? i'd appreciate some more input.

thanks in advance!
