I have domain name that I want people [me included] to access also through https://. Anyone know how I can do that using cPanel? Thanks.

Just look for SSL manager in your cPanel. If you don't see it, check with your host. SSL does require a dedicated IP. You can generate and sign your own SSL certificate free, but you will receive a warning message when you visit. To avoid the message you will have to purchase a SSL certificate (godaddy is cheap, a bit harder to setup but it works).

totally right, you may consider to hire some MSCE IT professionals to do it,
this can save you from lots of time.
SSI is easy but SSL is not well managed.

That's a bizarre comparison, seeing as they have nothing to do with each other.

What do Server Side Includes have to do with a Secure Socket Layer?

What use would a "Microsoft System Certified Engineer" be to install an SSl especially if it is on a linux server?

And as Mikor asks what the hell does Server Side Includes have to do with a secure socket layer certificate? The 2 are completely different, 1 is for secure communication between networks and the other is a cheap way of including external data in a web page.

Maybe he was being facetious...implying that setting up SSI is the best that an MCSE could do, where SSL would be a challenge for someone possessing only an MCSE certification.
