resellers.co.in alive for anyone?

I am trying to contacting them regarding a refund for few failed registrations a month ago, and there seems to be no one at the other end.

This is really sick because their website was not able to register my domains but they successfully charged me for it. I had to register that domains some where else.


If someone has any way to contact resellers.co.in,other than the emails listed on their site..plz lemme know

Hi Guys,

Yes Pratik is extremely hard to get hold of his job has him very busy. I have sent you a pm with his email addresses i have so hopefully you can get hold of him but even i have trouble.

Personally i think Pratik needs to decide if he still wants to run resellers.co.in and if not sell it to someone to take over or transfer all our names to directi or another company. Ive heard quite a few horror stories people having names dropped because of no one there at resellers to renew them.

Dont get me wrong he is a great guy but i guess life has him so busy he needs to take a time out and make a decision.

I tried contacting pratik at the emails provided by Steve and never received any response till now.

Also, i'm unable to transfer my domains that i tried transferring to Moniker.

I must warn everyone here who have there domains with resellers.co.in.

Well personally if i was you try him again and document, time stamp etc everything you do then you have grounds to build a case, i also have over 200 names there so iam doing the same i will then take legal advice which i pretty much know anyways but its good to have a legal 3rd party involved i also am having trouble with the secret password to transfer out tried contacting with no luck.

I know this sux but its a business and even though he is an internet friend for me he can not let people down like this.

So i ask if any one knows him on a personal level tell him to pull his finger out and if he doesnt want resellers.co.in anymore for him to get DirectI to take the facility back so we go direct to them to control our names.

Following is all the information you will need to transfer your domains.

To get a domain secret :

2. Click on 'My Account' ( http:/skitch.com/lifofifo/uc2e/resellers.co.in )
3. Find your domain using 'Domains -> Search -> Domain Registration
4. Click on the domain name to go to domain's management console.
5. Click 'Domain Registration' and look for text that reads 'Click here to view your Domain Secret over a Secure Connection.'
6. Click there and you have it.

To get the customer id :

1. Follow first 2 steps from the previous process.
2. Go to 'Settings -> Primary Profile'. You'll see your customer id there.

Got that email as well. I thought it a little bizarre to say the least, and possibly a strange phishing attempt.

Pratik has now sent me the refunds as well as sorted out the domain transfering issues.

@xdomainer: Yup, I got that email too.

I hope he will be actively maintaining the site from here on.

I have spoken to him everything is cool the email was sent out from his support address and this was no attempt of phishing.

Due to the nature of his current business he is unable to reply to support emails as quickly as people like hense why he suggested that people who wish to recieve fast responses to transfer to a new host.

If people have anything that needs drastically doing etc then please if you are unable to contact Pratik drop me a pm here and i will get it looked asap. I have run a hosting company for business's for over 10 years so i know the ins and outs of this type of business (see my profile) now i have sold my own business due to my illness and now i am on the mend i have offered Pratik some help.

PS. for thouse that may be worried resellers.co.in may shut down and you be all left stranded you have my assurance that this will not be happening, Pratik has confirmed this to me.

Just FYI, you can push the domain to another reseller or even answerable, you don't need to transfer it as outlined above. Just goto the 'Domain Overview' page and 'Move Services' to your other account at another reseller.

Another reason to not penny pinch for cheaper regs and go with a reliable company, rather than a freelancer... at least you don't end up losing your names in entirety.
