Type of Contest : Website
Prize : $150! (Paypal)
Contest End Date & Time : 1PM GMT : April 18th 2007
Size Requirements : Full width!! I want a ton of space for content!
Color Requirements : Read Below
What Sites I like:
http://www.realballers.com
http://msn.foxsports.com/nba (except using the whole browser I hate white spaces on the side)
General Requirements :
These sites are sports sites. NFL, NBA, and MLB. I want to use this template and be able to change the banner, and the with CSS change the colors to each one to match team colors easily.
Here is one of our sites(so you can see why we need change): www.celticsnews.com
As you can see everything is CLUTTERED. There is no room to maneuver anywhere and add other content. I also have Divs and Frames on there and I don't want those at all on these.
On the homepage I need:
An Image for the main story. With space for a small description.
Small spot for other images and descriptions for previous storys and blogs.
A news feed for spot for the latest news.
A spot for small mix video for youtube..a small one not normal video size.
A spot for a small wallpaper previews, maybe in a scroll bar?
I want a GOOD spot for a google ad to maximize profit earnings.
I need a decently big spot for our text link advertisers. If you go to that celtics site you'll see how I have them and how many...I need it to be better then than that as I want them get seen and clicked for them.
I need a row on the site very visible to go to other team sites. Please refer back to celticsnews.com(on right side) and see how I have text links up of Atlanta Hawks/Boston Celtics and so on for every team in the league. I want the sites to all have that and that is important.
Navigation:
I don't want image navigation. I want to be able to edit and change it and add more to it in the future if I need to. Right now I want:
Home
Forum
Blog
Roster
Schedule
Standings
Tickets
Affiliates
Contact
Additional Information : Please make sure its setup so it will be easy to edit the images and colors in mind to use as a template to all of my sites. I want something clean, catchy yet professional. Please remember to use the full page like the realballers site does. If you code the template or are able to code the template, it could make a big difference in picking you if it's close in picking one. If you won't code it for free if you win and can code, please state an additional cost you'd want to code it when selected. if you can;t code..thats fine..still submit your entries!
If you have any questions regarding this please ask. I am hoping for a lot of interest!
P.S You can probably do the Celticsnews.com site as main template and then I will know where the colors and stuff will go.
