General Requirements : Web 2.0 style logo.

Additional Information : This logo is for t-a-l-k-theory[.com] (remove dashes).

Right now I have a very dated splash page that will be replaced with a full homepage that links to the blog and forum. The new index page will pull in blog and forum posts, etc.

Take a look at the forum to get an idea for what's discussed for ispiration. I don't want the logo to be cartoonish or whimsical...but not too serious either. Just think web 2.0.

No clipart, or stock photography whatsoever
I own all rights of course

Hi, Here is my web2.0 design. Changed the 'o' into a speech bubble to go with the 'talk' theme. All vector.

Colors can be changed if required no problems.

Also, here is a variation with a filled speech bubble with a reflection and shadow to give a 3d effect.

Flavian - Nice. I like this one the best so far, although I see too may logos out there with the call out box sysmbol. Something missing in terms of the web 2.0 look.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I have a few questions for you to help me understand what you're looking for:

1) Could you emphasize more on what you mean by "Web 2.0 style"? Do you have any sample logos that follow this particular style?

2) Would you prefer rounded fonts or non-rounded fonts?

I was doing a tutorial which used an image of a ufo and alien and I thought to try it out for your design. The ufo is similar, but I have altered the colors and the alien is my own. Not sure it's what you wanted, but, there aren't many times when you can use an alien..........if you prefer the alien alone, I can do that for you, but only if you feel it's something that you are truly interested in.
